I don't see why wouldn't a Russian woman like an Irish man. Sounds like a very good combination to me. I'm half Russian with a Greek Cypriot father and my husband is British so I wouldn't say that Russians stick and marry people exclusively of their nationality. I would say they like variety cause I know at least a thousand Russian women married to Brits and Greeks.

Most Russian ladies I know prefer to remain within their own people and tend not to associate to extensively outside of the Russian community, not always of course, just generally
