How is Russia doing since the fall of the Iron Curtain?

Russia was on the path of Democracy. But ever since Putin took the power, it is going on the wrong direction. He is taking back all the power that was given to the people in last 14 years.

But other than that its same thing. High Employment, Big difference between rich and poor. Fighting terrorist in southern part. Fighting for oil.....same usual sh*t
