Why should USA collapse?

Yes, should you live in the Soviet Union in 1991, the time

when it collapsed you would have found absolutely empty stores and very long lines for almost any still available products. Ruble was just a piece of paper then. In many cities people were given special cards which they can use to buy most needed goods.

However, what I remember, we were not starving, I mean everyone was prepared for such situation because through the whole Soviet Union history there were always shortages of almost everything and people have learned to live in such conditions( having supplies, exchanging goods and so on)

Crime increased and probably also the crime statistics started to be more available...

I think you can't compare countries from the Former Soviet Union and states in America: Former Soviet Union had very big economic and social difficulties. Every state of America has strong economic foundation so you shouldn't be afraid of lack of food or violence increase.

But I'm curious why do you think that USA is going to collapse???
